Partnership Overview 

Arizona State University and Metropolitan Community College reaffirms the combined commitment to student success with the newly established Universal Articulation agreement. With a focus on academic preparedness, collaborative support and term-to-term persistence, students are ensured a smooth transition to the university and the support necessary for student success. Through MyPath2ASU students are able to take the steps needed to successfully plan their transfer to ASU while working towards their degree at Metropolitan Community College.

About Metropolitan Community College

Metropolitan Community College is the oldest public institution of higher learning in Kansas City, Mo. Founded downtown in 1915 as the Kansas City Polytechnic Institute, the new post-secondary school became known as the Junior College of Kansas City in 1919. It was one of the first two-year colleges in the country to award an associate degree.

Today, MCC offers more than 120 associate degree and certificate programs. The College serves about 20,000 students annually through credit and noncredit courses and business services. MCC’s campuses are sprinkled throughout the Missouri side of Greater Kansas City and include the Blue River, Longview, Maple Woods, Online, and Penn Valley Campuses.
